Fishing Cat Painting on Agate

I have hand painted a gorgeous little Fishing Cat onto this beautiful semi precious agate stone slice. This fabulous chap is Boson, and he lives at the Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent, UK. To find out about Boson's rescue story and all about the work they do please go to

I use gouache paint and tiny brushes to enable me to capture minute details. I use the patterns and colours of the agate to provide an unusual background to my paintings, and I try my absolute best to capture the spirit of the animals that I paint.
I have coated it in a tough resin to give long lasting protection to the painting.

The size is 5.5 cm x 5 cm, and it comes gift boxed complete with a display stand and certificate of authenticity signed by me.
